Last Crescent - Sun continues to come out of total coverage by moon.

$End of Totality - First crescent of the sun\u0027s body wipes out the views of the the corona as the lunar and solar disks pass each other.$

$Diamond Ring Flares - Flaring rays form as if from diamond ring facets as the sun\u0027s body begins to emerge from the lunar totality.$

Eclipse Diamond (Abstract) - The normal version of the diamond ring becomes a brilliant blue diamond when the colors are inverted.

First Diamond - First glimpse of the diamond ring as the totality ends.

Corona 2 - The corona and its flares remain visible throughout totality.

Corona 1 - The solar corona is only visible during totality which today lasted almost 2 minutes.

Last Sliver - Final slim sliver of the solar body is visible before eclipse totality.

Waning Crescent 1 - Lunar disk has covered over half of the solar disk to form a waning crescent sun.

$Bite 2 - Moon continues to encroach across the solar face moving toward totality. \r\nAncient cultures believed this was a sign that an evil animal, often a dragon, was eating the sun.$
