The Indian flying bat (Pteropus giganteus) is a bat with a wingspan of 1.5 metres that nests in South Asia. It is nocturnal and frugivorous, helping in the dispersal of seeds. It has keen eyesight and a keen sense of smell. (Photos: Anil Sharma)
